Renowned Grammy-nominated banjoist and fellow Harvard alum Alison Brown and celebrated drummer, bandleader, educator T. S. Monk were the first artists to become clients at Ed Keane Associates. Through his production and management activities, gifted artists in the genres of jazz, classical, and blues were attracted to the agency including legendary composer/conductor/performer David Amram (who composed the music for such classic films as The Manchurian Candidate and Splendor In The Grass), three-time Grammy- nominated vocalist Nnenna Freelon, legendary alto saxophonist Jackie McLean, and rising star blues/pop singer-songwriter John McAndrew, among others.
Since the company was founded, it has grown to offer talent booking, production, and music publishing services. The company is currently formed into three distinct parts: the Booking Division (domestic and international), the Management Division, and Production.
