Piano Man Inc. started in 1993 when musician-turned-CEO and President, Robert N. Lupo, decided to take his passion for vintage pianos and organs and piano music and share it with others by opening the Piano Man Store in Boston Area. The business grew so fast in one year; he moved the store to 719-721 Main Street in the center of Waltham next to the library, where the store has been ever since. Piano Man has the most comprehensive list of piano services – from piano rentals to piano moving, from piano tuning to piano repairs, from piano refinishing to piano restoration, and more. Over the past 14 years, Piano Man’s staff has provided extensive piano knowledge to customers. To ensure that expertise, all of the staff are musicians and have backgrounds in studying and playing pianos and other musical instruments. Just like Bob Lupo, the rest of the staff is passionate about sharing their enthusiasm for acoustic and digital pianos, organs and keyboards.
