Shirhan Agabeyli is a bass player, composer, arranger and singer born in Ukraine on April 11, 1991. His parent’s immersed him at a very young age in a different musical environments: Jazz, Funk, Fusion, R&B, and of course his motherlands traditional music Mugam, a highly complex art form that merges poetry and musical improvisation. He has recorded and performed with musician such as: John Medeski, David Fuiczynski, Batyrkhan Shukenov, Enver Izmaylov, Erkan Ogur etc. and participated with various musical projects in Ukraine, Poland, Turkey, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan and USA. He currently is pursuing a Performance Degree at Berklee College of Music.
