Drummer John Ramsay, Berklee Percussion Chair, spearheads a tribute concert that celebrates the music of Art Blakey and the Jazz Messengers, a group that Ramsay spent two years with as second drummer and Blakey's road manager. His quintet includes Jeff Stout, trumpet, Mike Zoldos,tenor saxophone, Bruce Sklar, piano, and Gregory Ryan, bass.
