About

The Berklee Ensemble Department in collaboration with the Center of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion are kicking off the new Black Gold Series with a Celebration of Black Music. In honor of Black History Month and The Black Lives Matter Movement, we are hosting a 60-minute presentation, filled with a select range of historically black music. Highlighting genres such as Afro-Caribbean, The Music of Duke Ellington and Dizzy Gillespie, Neo-Soul and 90's R&B, this concert will feature students, faculty and special guests.
