Drones and beats, crimson beads, and towering black lambs-wool hats all serve as a striking backdrop to the Ukrainian folk-punk quartet DakhaBrakha. With one foot in the urban avant garde and the other in Ukrainian village culture, the groups self-proclaimed ethno-chaos is a refreshingly novel vision of Eastern European roots music.
